Star Trek 11


I saw the movie and was very impressed, the previous 10 movies appear lame compared to this prequel. IMHO it's not only the best of the series, it's one of the best sci-fi/space movies at all.

I´m going to see it next week. I´m more of a Star Wars kind of person but I´m looking forward to this movie :)

Although I have a huge Star Trek collection on DVD I like Star Wars movies much better. So I was very skeptical when I heard of this film and above all that it was a prequel but my daughter "insisted" to watch it with her.

And I was very positively surprised. This was one of the best sci-fi space movies I've ever seen (and I've seen most of them). Forget the original 1960ies series, forget what you know about Starfleet technology of that time, delete all your memories on how the original Enterprise looked like.

Enjoy a fast, entertaining and sometimes very funny movie! I nearly cried when I heard Pavel Chekov speak (I watched the English version of the movie).

I saw it today. Love it! great sci fi movie, not just a Star Trek movie. Never a dull moment.
Chekov accent is a lot thicker than the original actor´s but I liked it. Also loved when McCoy said "I´m a doctor not a physist" :P
I´m sure a lot of trekkers cried, specially at the end :)
